The Learning Resources

ABCya is an educational games website that organizes games by grade level (K-5) and subject categories. These interactive games include video game-style games that use the arrow keys to play, word find games that can be played on screen or printed, and racing games that can be played virtually against other players. Some of the games may require a teacher to read brief instructions. Since most of the games are for younger students, the directions are simple and self-explanatory.

Alphabet Slider Puzzle is an activity for early elementary age children. Students click and drag the puzzle pieces to complete the alphabet pictures. When a picture is complete the letter is pronounced and associated with a word and picture. (Requires Adobe Flash)

Pattern recognition game. Students continue the pattern of the moon rocks left by the rocket ship. (Requires Adobe Flash)

In this multi-level game, students count money up to one hundred dollars. (Requires Adobe Flash)

This word game offers seven levels: pre-primer, primer, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, nouns, and all words. Students listen to a word and click on the word on the bingo card; when they have five in a row, BINGO appears on that row. Scores are shown after each game. (Requires Adobe Flash)
